Warning: Former Epic Exclusive. Don't buy on Steam!
Or else the greedy devs will get your money which they already received! Buy on G2A!

Explain how they already got the money from people who haven't bought it yet.

This should be good.

They already received their dirty money from Epic. No need to milk Steam users as well.

Suck it weirdo, I buy what I want. As long as Activision doesn't publish it I'm good.

Been training on an underground black market copy for the last year, preparing for the real release. I am he who has kung-fu and wude, I am ready.

I wish we saw this kind of thread on Playstation-published and Microsoft-published releases too. :steamfacepalm:

There were also a couple cases where a people backed Kickstarters with the expectations they'd get Steam versions but they went to Epic first and boy were people pissed off (Shen Mue 3 was one, I forget the other big one off the top of my head....Project Phoenix maybe?)

To be fair, it does look like the publishers are planning to drop this exactly 365 days after EGS exclusivity. It's possible they just learned their lesson the hard way - a lesson it seems every publisher wants to learn at least once: no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EGS exclusives if your game IS actually good!

There is one important aspect i refunded SIFU on Epic Store: the bad controller support.
I own a switch pro controller, with Steam Big Picture i can adjust everything very smooth.
I cant do this on EPIC.
So i had to wait for this Steam Release, and i am happy to play it now.
Its a great game which deserve to be played. (even if i suck at Sekiro... sigh*)

Epic is greedy, not the devs.

So this isn't an advice of "you'll get it free eventually like Borderlands 3" right? piss off dude. A good game deserves money. And not a dime of what we pay on steam will go to epic in any way.
Babi Gendut Jan 3, 2023 @ 8:14pm
Yes, I won't buy it on steam because I already have it on epic.
