Surprised to see no-one's posted this yet so I guess I will! Daybreak II is releasing in English on the 14th February 2025!

So... I guess if you want to buy your partner a game for Valentine's Day, your answer's right there! Maybe it's releasing on that day because it's a romantic game and we'll get to find out Van's canon love interest. Who knows?

I've played it myself with a fan patch, and I feel I should might mention a little something. The following isn't really a spoiler but it could influence opinion: Daybreak 2 is very divisive. If you're the type to instantly drop a series after one game you don't like, it might be best to wait for Kai and come back to it once it's no longer "the latest game in the series." If you're on the Trails bandwagon no-matter what, play right on!

Yep! Slightly different version of fishing than in any of the previous games, but it's back and still involves timing for getting in a certain zone.
