I really enjoy my time playing against the AI with all these decks. The Community WAD compiled pretty much all the modded cards together and its actually insane.

Thank you for this post. I realized the other day how much I like this implementation of Magic, and now finding out about this mod, I can test out all kinds of insane deck ideas against an AI. This is amazing. (And actually, it's not a terrible AI at that... yesterday it played a 0 toughness creature just to exile 2 Bridge From Below out of my discard.)

Learned about that yesterday. Now this is really awesome!
But... is there any way to import a deck from a list or from your clipboard? The deck builder is a pain to use. You have to visit a subscreen, delete your last search and filter for every card.

If you are using the Community Wad and the automated script, you can import decks made by players by using the script and selecting the "Deck" option; it will ask for a number, and said number is the ID (usually reserved/claimed) of the player and his/her decks made in the Deck Editor. If you check the SlightlyMagic threads you can find the thread with the IDs of a lot of players, which in turn have made a lot of decks (and I mean, a lot).

Once you sync the decks (the tool can do everything for you; from deleting old versions to copying new ones) you'll find them in your game as any other deck, ready to be used/fought against.

You can also choose to select an unclaimed ID (and post it into the thread so the community knows), make your decks in the editor, and share the files created (both the deck and the content enabler) in the GDrive shared folder of the Community Wad (the instructions and tools are found in the SlightlyMagic threads and it's really, really easy).


Do note however that, if you want to play online, players must have the whole files or the game will crash, so it's recommended you sync/copy over everything from the Community Wad, and preferably that you make your own decks with your own ID, even if you base your decks on someone else's.

I'm only interesed in playing my own decks and having the AI use them against me. And since there are so many hoops to jump through I won't even bother finding real people to do this with - albeit this would be excellent.

Unfortunetly, the artificial intelligence is not very intelligent. They have no idea how to play this and end up hurting themselves. Leaving mana rocks untouched. Bouncing the bounce land. Sometimes they try to do stuff in vain forever which leaves me no choice but to force quit.

Yes, as far as I can tell playing with actual people requires a few hoops to jump through. I'm enjoying this very much for the last couple of weeks, but the incompetence of the bots is slowly taking its toll.

A lot has been adressed by the community since I started and new cards are getting added all the time.

If someone wants to play against a human being and is willing to do some work beforehand, I'm game. EDH that is.
