2 events seem to be friend events I think and 1 I've got no clue :/
Choosing normal mode and completing the 5-year story, regardless of what ending you get as long as you get to where the teacher gives you your grade (you just need a 7+ star item created at any point during the game to get the basic "normal win". you don't need to have it, just create it once. otherwise you get the "lose" ending, a philosopher stone gets you the best win ending.) You don't need relationships, you don't need anything at all actually.
So, once you get your ending it ask you if you want to create a "clear save data". meaning you can save the game at that point. Loading that save will then prompt you for difficulty and other things. that's going to be your new game+.
from there you can figure out the details. Keep in mind a simple first playthrough is about 7 to 10 hours if you don't skip anything.
This way you learn a lot and can ready the 2nd time around, this game can be a bit rough.
there doesn't seem to be "new stuff" in the conventional sense... just more easily accessible stuff. like title, relationships, etc. You keep every weapon and armor bought which makes the beginning easier to handle.
