Would you be able to try these two steps which contain fixes for lost audio >
1. Some of our games may not support 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound, so certain audio ques may not be heard, if output to a surround sound channel it does not support. To check if this may be the issue >
-Right-click on the Sound icon in the taskbar and select 'Sounds'
-Choose your current audio device being used
-Navigate to Properties and click on Advanced
-Uncheck the 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device' box
-Experiment with selecting lower or higher bitrate (use 24bit/44100 Hz or 24bit/192000Hz if the option is given on your audio device
-Test the sound of the game again, after relaunching the game
2. If using any other sound controlling software such as Discord or other VoIP programs, please disable this through Task Manager and relaunch the game, to check if these programs were causing interference
3. Test the game in borderless window mode, windows mode, and full screen to see if all display options have no sound. Sometimes running a game in borderless window mode specifically, will fix this issue.
4. Next, right-click on the Volume/Sound speaker icon in your Taskbar and select Open Sound Settings.
Then scroll down until you see the Advanced Sound Options and select App Volume Device Preferences.
You will see an 'Output and Input' option, make sure you have your game open, and it should appear in the list of applications here.
From here you can assign which device the listed applications will output their audio to. So under the dropdown column for the game, select which Audio Device you'd like to output the game's audio to whether that be a headset or a speaker.
