Purpose of the Thief "MUG" ability ???

I'm not sure the purpose of using MUG during battle, because when you kill all foes you can loot them for items anyhow.

Does MUG give you extra items not included in the normal loot?

I could never keep someone alive long enough to see if mugging them had any real effect on the after-fight loot. It's a pretty heavy hitting back row stun, so there's that. Keeps the archers and casters out of the fight a bit. Also, worth while to steal buffs from the enemy once it's leveled up.

i guess, if you're short on supplies, you could take a chance at looting a health pack that you may not have <- but that'd be rare.

i however use it all the time for it's stun ability, for enemies that are heavily armoured in the back that i don't want to deal with yet; let's me focus on the others, so by the time he wakes up, the little minions are pretty much down.
