Dog Whistle

After one of the patches, It seems to be impossible to get the dog whistle Achievement. Every time I get the gnome dust. When I go to the froest where the dogs used to be, there are only zombies there now. This is very frustrating. How else can I get the achievement?

Do the Dire Wolves in Canada not count?

There is a point in the story line which is scripted to replace the dogs with zombies. After you beat the game you can go back and there will be dogs again.

Ah thanks for this. I just beat the game and I'm running around trying to get whatever I can still get that wasn't missable, and I've noticed all the Zombies are gone, so I'm going to try this later.
