Grounded, sent to bed, stuck....

Well, I exit the girls room in the park, get grounded and sent to bed. After I go to bed the mother animation plays then im stuck staring at either a door in a dark room or the door disappears and im looking at an empty doorway in a dark room. When i press the movement keys i hear footsteps but i cant swing a weapon, fart or bring up any menu except for the main menu that allows me to quit, save, ect.. I've tried to backtrack, reinstall, and run as admin all the same. Anyone else had this problem, if so am i doing something wrong, is there a work around or do i just have to wait for a patch? Thank you.

How did you get grounded? That never happened to me in the game.

How did you get grounded? That never happened to me in the game.

Basicly after canada your parents find you in the lost woods then ground you once but you can still go out of your room. I went and finished the next step of the girls quest and they find you again and ground you once more then lock the door.
Correction: After Canada I did go to try and find the Christmas Critters so they may have found me more than once, cant remember right now.

I am stuck at being grounded too. Wanted to go to the city hall to recruit the girls. Parents show up and send me to bed. Mother gives a voiceless speech and then i am stuck. I was in the woods to get the animals. Loaded a save before that. Hope i can continue. Seems it has something to do with the forest.

That happened to me, but I simply got up, walked to my door opened it and left the house no problem. Now I got lost in the day time in the Forest, wonder if that makes any difference?

I don't remember being grounded at this stage.
I was grounded many times when I lost myself in the woods and once in the story right after the battle against Kyle/Cartman

Well Im certain that the issue is in the lost forest. I started over and rushed though the forest for o'canada and the game was fine. No problem. Just dont stay in the forest. Get in and get out fast.

Yeah the problem might be that you didn't let the parents caught you in the forest. It's best to start over at the forest before the parents appear. Just don't run away from your parents kids.
