Does anyone else experiencing sound stuttering during the game? I've tried to change my system audio settings but I'm still experiencing this stutters. Thanks for any feedback in advance and sorry for my bad english ;-)

Yes, audio stutters on my PC too. Both music and voices, very frequently. The weird thing is: audio was fine on my first run. When I played the day after, the audio started to stutter.

I'll happily provide a mini-dump or dxdiag file if a developer asks for it.

I'm experiencing this too. When I first launched the game, for about an hour I had problems with sound stuttering, but after a while everything started to work smoothly. On the next day I played for about 5 hours and during all this time I still had the sound issues.

The only thing that works for me is switching game to the windowed mode - but of course it doesn't always helps. I guess we will have to wait for a patch...

The 30FPS feature has something to do with the sound, for sure.
If you check this thread and turn off vsync and framesmoothing - the audio won't stutter. But! If you come to your house, get up the stairs, and try to walk down the stairs - you get stuck behind textures without a chance to go anywhere... That might be not the only case of this hack breaking something in the game. You can try that and tell what you get.

Hey everybody, I was having this issue too but I've been having some luck hopping over to Task Manager after starting the game and setting Priority for the process to BelowNormal. I'm no scientician but after doing some reading I guess that the high CPU utilization was borking some audio processing so I made it back off enough for things to function. The game is not without occasional hitches now (usually when walking around) but combat and audio works okay for me. Let everyone know if it works for you.

Fixed it for me. Unfortunately now butters' animations are running at hyperspeed because they seem to be tied to the framerate. But I barely notice that, whereas the sound stutters were driving me insane. Fair trade.
