[Bug] Can't reach the last Chinpokomon when I should DEFINITELY be able to

I'm currently at 29/30 chinpokomon and the last one that I need is Pterdaken...but the problem is that he's on the second floor of the school that's unreachable after the missions at the school have been completed. Not a big deal...but the doors to the school are locked after you've completed all the missions inside of them. It would make sense for things like the UFO to be unreachable after the missions are done (since it blew up)...but the school is still accessible. Those doors weren't even locked when you first saw them and you even blew the front door open so that Token and Tweek could get in, but they lock after you beat the game? That doesn't make sense.

Please either open those doors or allow another way to get that Chinpokomon...it doesn't make any sense that they should be locked after the story has been complete.

I only need Gunrilla in the South Park Mall but you can't get there after the missions either. I feel your pain because now I can't complete everything in the game on this character and it's very frustrating.

Agreed. I'm not backtracking 7 hours so that I can get one collectible. Angry Joe is in the exact same boat I'm in as well. I could understand if I left something behind and knowingly went ahead with it. But when you're supposed to be able to revisit an area halfway through, but the other half with an important item is just LOCKED on the other side (even after you BLEW UP THE DOOR)...I consider it a bug.

If you think about it the door is no longer blown up. One could guess that they reconstructed the school and since school isnt in session you cant enter it. Though I agree would be nice to have it acessable. It is kinda like how you cant reenter Jimmy's house after it is fixed up though there is not much in there.

Well, there are even more people who can't get the "Shoe" chinpokomon because they beat the game and can't reenter Jimmy's house. Although that one's not as hard to miss...it can still be lost if you dont get it then and there.

Oh if we are talking about just lost ones there are tons. My comment was solely on areas that cant be reentered that you should be able too. Clyde is still banished so no one can see him :P

I had to replay the game for gunape. I also got the rest of the planned achivements on the 2nd run.

Starting a new char will completely restart everything. You will not keep your friends, weapons, pokemons, or anything else it is a diffrent person.

Just because you don't like something doesn't make it a bug. It is functioning exactly as intended. It isn't uncommon for games with collectibles to have ones that are missable and require a restart.
