I cant get past Randy's fart lesson

He just keeps looping and saying the same thing no matter what. I'm using a controller and I try to follow exactly what they say to press and I'm even able to get some farts off. Regardless Randy keeps repeating and I have no idea how to get past this.

If i hold B to skip, different totourial options show up, but its never consistant

No it's different, because I'm using a controller, and that one is talking about using a keyboard

Yeah I had the same problem. You have to wait for the fart to 'settle' and then keep it in the sweet spot (left stick on X360 controller). Keep it there and the prompt to release the fart will appear.

as soon as i touch the left stick, i fail and it restarts

Pull down the right stick, then just push the left stick all the way to the left and hold it there. Keep it still, and eventually it will prompt you to push the right stick up.

The tutorial is actually really inaccurate, so just ignore it.

you have to watch the little arrow that goes around the frequency panel. took me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever to figure them out. once you do its a piece of cake

Ignore the arrow and the tutorial, trust me. Just hold the stick far to the left, keep it still and wait. After a moment it will tell you to push the right stick upwards.
