Didn't see any benefit, you still have access to opposite vendor\house. I think Cartman is just a worthier leader.

So all in all is there is no real difference between picking cartman or kyle to follow ? Thats goo to know.

But i see two achievements - one for defeating Cartman in battle and one for defeating Kyle. I assume you cant fight them both during the course of the game so depending on who you side with, you can only get one achievement for defeating the leader of the opposite faction.
Am i wrong?

Just save right before the choice and do both. Honestly the achievement is the only difference.

There's a bit of story but after a little while, yes.

"Killed" Kyle, then I loaded the game and "killed" Cartman. Got both achievements.
