people who pirate the game are playing but i cant

sitting here waiting to play while i hear somebody i know who pirated the game play

its getting very annoying

is the Australian version still being released tonight or did it get pushed back again

Patience pays off in the end. If you are going to keep refrencing piracy why not just go pirate, it seems like more and more of you are trying to justify it.

I think it was actually Gabe/Valve that said piracy is a service problem. As long as the pirates have better access to games than paying customers you can't really expect to make a dent in piracy rates.

This game is the perfect example. There are different versions, different releases dates, the release dates change hours from release...This is a damn joke. I am in Poland and I have no idea when this game will be made available to me. Yesterday it said the 6th and today it says nothing.

The problem I have is that it is a Digital release, it should not be subject to this stuff. The real problem is that Greedy Retail stores in the UK don't want Steam to release early as it may sway console gamers to buy on PC, so they lock down the publishers. Funny thing is though you walk into a Game shop in the UK and they don't even care about PC.

I really can't wait for shops to just die off, they are all FAIL anyway..And why oh why publishers pander to them is beyond me. I would tell them all to f-off..The UK has plenty of supermarkets that will easily and happily take up the slack, and not do stuff like "Pre-Order A Pre-Owned" game making the Dev's & Publishers more money.

Its just like Streaming services etc, they impose all this DRM it fails horribly. Example, I have LoveFilm/Netflix/NowTV I was trying to watch the Wire on NowTV (Sky) and it failed, it then told me I was watching it more than one device at once which I was not. So I removed all my devices (Computer/PS3/Roku) and then tried to re-add them. I added my PC first as I was on it, I then tried to add back my PS3 and was told I can only change 1 device a month...I mean really so now I cant watch what I am paying for till April..Really!

So what do I do? I Download all 5 series from the net, and put them on my HTPC running XBMC. Now I can watch when I want, no issues no constraints nothing. I can even watch them when I am out and about via Plex Media Server..

Point is punishing customers WHO PAY turns us into either lost customers or Pirates. When will greed be put second to common sense / Trust and invariably more money for these idiots.

I don't see what people are so pissed about. The release date for this game has been known for months and now that people have found illegal ways to be able to play the game a few hours earlier you get pissed at the companies for not releasing it earlier? Grow up, sit back and wait for the release.

This game has been delayed 3 or 4 times already. Last time it was delayed a month from supposed release which was supposed to have been in December. Now release dates are getting changed cause of censorship.
