How are the mouse and keyboard controls?

I was reading some reviews, and some stated that the game is meant to be played on a control, while others said to get the PC version if possible. Just wanted to ask you guys what you think about the mouse and keyboard controls? That's pretty much the deciding factor in between me getting the 360 or PC version.

PC version runs smoother overall, I think that's where the "get the pc version if you can" advice is coming from.

Speaking personally, I've had no problems with the controls as of yet, apart from being unable to set custom controls. That stretching-to-hit-left-shift-to-sprint thing is getting annoying.

Don't most games use WASD + Shift for movement in keyboard controls? I feel pretty used to pushing left shift after hundreds of hours on TF2, Call of Duty, Counter Strike, etc. Thanks for the info on the non-customiable controls though. I like to keep controls as close to default as possible most of the time so I'll be getting the PC version then.

I do use WASD, but I change my left shift down a key to ctrl, it's easier for my pinkies (naturally bent).

I don't mind that they put it there, as it is the default position, I just mind that there's no option to change it.

I can't get a strait answer in my searches but is there REALLY no way of me setting up my keybindings? I use the same setup for all my first-person shooters and I use up, down, left, right and surround those with the other keys. With my OCD retraining my brain for one game is needless to say... Not fun for me. Please tell me there is hope as I was looking forward to this one :)

It's true, I write left handed and do most other things right handed. Childhood was tough.

I have completed the game with keyboard controls. However, with the fart minigames, you must use the arrow rather than the WASD keys . . .

Glad I just bought this assuming that it would have custom key bindings since I havn't seen a game without them forever...being left handed and using a left specific mouse, this smakes the game an extreme pain in the ass to play. So glad I spent money on it.

Too bad Steam doesn't allow refunds. If only they did you could get your money back instead of bringing a seventeen-month-old topic back from the dead to complain to a bunch of strangers on the Internet.
