Even if i can buy a copy from the US, will i have to go through ubisofts DRM blocking me from playing?

As long as you buy a ROW gift/key, you should be able to activate it.
The Stick of Truth also doesn't use the Uplay DRM.

Reading in Wikipedia that some episodes were censored at least at some point - (e.g Pink Eye - Hitler scene), publisher probably played it safe and just ignored the whole country.

Hello, few things:
(1) you can see un censeored south park here in israel and buy the game in dvd ver so i dont see why cant we get the dig copy.
(2) you can buy the game at the local shops - FREAK got it today and they sell it for 229 NIS (65$), MoveGames also got it now (just picked my copy few min's ago)...
(3) there will be no Steam or Dig copy for Israel atm - got this from ubishop tick last night.
(4) even if you get the DVD you need to wait from steam to relese the game - my copy is with europe relese time, gamers who got the dvd from MediaCenter store reported that they are with asia relese time...

This is actually not true, South Koreans want nothing to do with north Korea as any recombination would destroy the economy of the South. Defectors are also treated like garbage in the South...still better than being in the north though.
