Running on Mac with Parallels
I KNOW it's not a popular subject, but if anyone is curious....Running on a Macbook Pro.... It seems to run just fine running on a VM with Parallels and Win8.1. Just make sure scaling is turned off in parallel's display prefs.

if you can afford a mac book you can get a pc to play this

Meh. It's not a matter of expense man. It's just some folks prefer a Mac over a PC. That's all. And while I was looking forward to playing this game, it's certainly not something I'd buy a whole new computer over.

There's no button mapping necessary. Right click on Mac is just a two finger click. If it's an older macbook, then its Cmd-Click.

I was expecting comments like this when I posted. But there are folks out there that either just prefer a Mac, like me, or that's just what they have to work with, for whatever reason.

I figured I wouldn't be the only one to want to play it on a Mac, so I bit the bullet and bought the game to try it out and post the results.

I would personally never go through the trouble of getting a game like this to work on my macbook pro, but i'm sure someone out there will find this thread useful. :ss13ok:

Thanks for posting! - Just curious, I can't seem to find the option to turn off scaling in parallel's display prefs. Which Parallels version you running, 9?

Sure, in the Configuration panel for that VM, click Options, then Full Screen, then, Select OFF next to Scale to fit.

Well, you can button map right click to bottom right or left corner. just go to system preferences > Trackpad > and for the secondary click there's an Arrow, just click it and map it to bottom left or right corner

The only reason you should use Parallels is if running Windows and Mac apps side by side is absolutely necessary. I've never encountered such a case.

If you're going to spend hours in a game why not take the 15 seconds or so to boot directly into Windows?
