How do i cup a spell?

Im in the training for cup a spell and its like hold left click a, d. But im not sure how im actually supposted to do it because I cant get any frequency on the meter thing.

did you spin the wheel (for lack of a better word) all around the meter? There should be a little knob on the outside of the frequency that moves with A and D. It's a bit of a pain sometimes, but I haven't had any issues with that myself.

oh thanks man. Yeah i had no idea about that little thing on the meter. Its this tiny arrow thats pretty hard to see and not explained.

Thank you badwolf! I had no idea that existed. It would've been nice if they had explained that. I was just trying to press a and d when they lit up or whatever and it wasn't doing anything...

the tutorial really needs to point out that little arrow that goes around the frequency bubble.

Agreed... funny thing is, because the first frequency is so close to the marker you might actually be successfull with pressing a and d as shown in the tutorial sort of in rhytm... I know I was until Randys tutorial, then I started looking on the net and found out I had been a knob :D
