Blocking in Battle

I feel like I just don't have this down, I understand WHEN to block, but feel like even when I press the button sometimes it just doesn't happen. Does anyone have tips for blocking or is anyone else having issues?

At first I thought you did it as they actually motioned to attack, but you just have to tap the right button the moment you see the shield emblem beneath you.

It takes some getting used to, and I still screw up when they fire 3 arrows all the time.

I dont know whether turning vsync on/off affects the timing in the game, but the indicater to block is often too late and I often have to anticipate rather than look at the circle.

It's all about timing. Headless-Chicken is right, but in the Late Game you got a feeling for it.

Turns out blocking isnt the space bar. It's a right click, better yet it looks like you can hold it.

Blocking enemy attacks takes some getting used. That being said, it's a wise idea to block attacks whenever possible so you'll master it in no time flat.
