Safe to sell everything in the 'junk' section?

I assume it is but with my luck, I'd need one of those items for something later in the game. I added it up and after a couple hours I have like $35 worth of junk. More than double my current cash on hand.

I think all greyed-out items are safe to sell, unless you're going for the "don't sell anything" achievement.

Np, and there's a few achievements that lead me to believe multiple playthroughs are required, so if you don't get the one this time, you can always do it next time.

There are multiple stores in the game that are NPC driven that allow you to sell. Do some exploring.

Head back to Cartman's house and sell it at the Armory. And as said above, there are other places as well.
