Butter's Melee Attack

I'm having a lot of trouble timing this one right, to the point I think its bugged. My new kid doesn't seem to have any trouble timing his swings (Fighter). Any tips/hints....anyone else having this same problem?

Haven't had much problem with Butters' Melee. It's a real late sparkle, so it takes time getting used to when it happens.

It seems to be bugged. Yesterday I was able to time it perfectly every time by hitting X right when the flash popped... now I have to PRE-EMPT the flash and hit before it even happens. Something is wrong.

Are you right clicking as you're supposed to? His move is right click only

That threw me at first. Left-clicked a bunch of times because I wasn't really paying attention.

Yeah I'm right-clicking and only ever seem to get too late or too early. I don't have any problems with timing other attacks


I somewhat solved the problem: I just use Kenny's OP rat attack and have my fighter builr to chain attack...

Wait until you see the sparkle, then right-click. Don't get into the habit of trying to click right at the sparkle, it's better to do it a few 1/10th of a second after. I hated Butters at the beginning, but main with him all the way until the end. His Professor Chaos transformation is really useful later on, and his melee dmg is respectable.

its definitely bugged. because i can time it perfectly, but the game says "too late". and the hammer throw skill is so bugged, there is no sparkle to react with. hope it gets fixed soon

butters normal attack requires a right click when it flashes not a left click. early on when playing i made that mistake

The attack says that it works with left click but it is the right one, 8 years and they still don't fix that...
