Though I would have to agree with that price being a tad much.
I don't know if they are trying to recoup some of their losses from THQ going under or what.
The only reason they're charging $60 is because they can, not because that's what it's "worth" or what it cost to make. Just do what I'm doing and wait for it to come down to around $20 or pick up a used xbox copy for even less.
Looks like someone else understands how bull the industry standard for video-game pricing is. It's even more inane since a vast mjaority of PC games are sold via digital distribution.
There's a lot of games that come out that are that price tag, most of them known, so just consider this something like...Tomb Raider.
Hopefully that was around this price tag was released or my sentence will have been for nothing. :(
It felt more like an 11 hour (11 hours for me to complete the main story, though I did do a couple side quests) interactive episode than a typical RPG, but I think that's kind of what they were going for, and that's why you need to be a fan of South Park to truly enjoy the game.
Well Tomb Raider actually released at 49.99. This game should have released at the typical PC AAA price point of $50 not $60.
