no girl character?
i really can't create a girl character, why? the male is stuck on my inventory and i don't wanna to cross dress, what a way to kill the immersion, i'm not mad just disappointed.

Actually the entire point is you aren;t male or female. You just choose.
In South Park episodes & in the games, all characters bodies are the same, its the clothing that determines who they are.
You can actually choose later when asked at the school if you're male or female.
You just assumed you were male, like all other characters in the game.

well on the inventory screen it say sex Male, why put that there if they are going to ask you that later?

if it was supouse to be ambiguous until that point, put that there is just a freking tease.

Is it really that big a deal if you have to make your character cross dress? It's South Park for crying out loud. Cross dressing is positively ordinary by this game's standards.

then why they added that you can play girl in fractured?

Maybe they got lazy and fidn't want to record 2 voice actor lines from dad which calls you son if you talk to him.
Also it's south park. They probably did it on purpose to piss people off. Good job on taiking the bait i guess.

Because a girl would have made no sense maybe given the context?

Kids don't work by the current "up to date idea of ideal perfection". Playing the game you'll find that just like in real life kids are separated by gender here. Why do they separate asks the "progressive" with no common sense? Because the very culture enforces the idea of some things are "girls only" and others are "boys only"(even the "progressives" pushed by the mainstream by antagonizing everything related to males).
Therefore girls and boys won't play the same way and the same things because they were raised to be and act like a girl or boy.

The story revolves around the New Kid who starts out in a position where a girl would not be in the first place, except if tomboyish to the "extreme"(by the mindset of "society"), and then you would be complaining about "Why is my girl character acts like a boy and does boy things?".

I wonder how did they worked in the girl player character into the story in the first place in Fractured but Whole(haven't played the game myself).
As I remember we have a New Kid in that game too being the "King"(or "Queen" I guess that is actually not a crossdresser like Kenny was), until ♥♥♥♥ comes back from the future(or more like rolls back time) to figure out what messed up his relity(totally not sounding like one of Cartman's schemes to get something expensive. Guess I just watch too much South Park).

Welp, in my opinion its because girls only hangout with girls, and guys only hangout with guys, while guys don't like when girls play games like this with them. While the story revolves around you and 4 main characters of South Park, which are guys, it would be more logical to have a male character as a main character for a game. Deal with it.

Well apparently they worked it out with choosing to be a girl when you have the option of gender decision by retroactively changing the gender all the way back to the Stick of Truth ending up with YOU being the silent to the extreme protagonist you are AND also being a tomboy(if you chose cis gender).

South park has always been about the boys. Also, having one girl play with +30 boys would drastically change how the characters viewed the protagonist. South Park has always made a lot of fun of the divide between the different sexes, would be strange to change it now. Also, the man character in the first game was a male, and this is a sequel.

I get your point though. You want to feel like you are you in the game (atleast I do) in a RPG, so disappointment over not being able to choose a female character is understandable.

You're not alone. I thought the same thing. Decided to make my character look like a girl even though she's addressed as a boy in game.

Have you never seen south park? the boys don't generally play with the girls, it's a reflection of how many of us acted around that age (9-10 years old) girls did their thing, boys did theirs and rarely did the two mix, not until puberty that is anyway. Not saying this was always the case but by and large your first friends tended to be ones of your own gender at that age.

South Park draws heavily from the creator's own experiences as boys growing up. As a result stories based on and around the show will always remain heavily boy-centric.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

You're right, they should have had the option to choose the sex of your character. You can do that in most modern RPG games that worth at least a turdsandwich.
