A little lore question.

I remember that Kenny died from muscular dystrophy or something at some point in the show and he was considered dead for a long time, they even replaced him with Tweek first and then with Butters in the main 4.
How did he came back?

During the Season 6 (The season kenny was dead for the entirety of) finale "Red Sleigh Down" Kenny came back to life with no explanation.

Kenny has died repeatedly and in one early episode he just appears at the bus stop with the other boys right at the beginning. Kenny is friends with the powers that be and can come back whenever he feels like it I guess. I'm thinking when he was gone for a while it was just that he didn't feel like coming back.

Kenny is basically a being from the Sunken City summoned to this world through his mother(Kenny's parents were attending to cult meeting for the free beer for a while).

Whenever Kenny dies, he revives by his mother giving birth to him again and growing into the age he is overnight.

i'm a little rusty with my South Park and im probably little late but all we know is that kenny is Mysterion a superhero with a power that lets him always come back from the dead but still feels pain and that's why i think he comes back with "No explanation" (sorry for misspelling) up until the superhero episode we thought it was the family guy when each episode was a different timeline or like it never happend but south park references back to older episodes so we know its not the case so basically my best theroy is He's still secretly "playing" superhero

His powers were explained as early as Season 4 Episode 5 "Cartman joins NAMBLA".

In the ♥♥♥♥ and friends episodes we see a lot of things differently than how they actually are, essentially the kids imaginations. Mysterions origin story is, likewise, made up. Kenny is also completely unaware of the fact that he gets reborn literally.

During the course of the plot it shifted from being a game to them being serious.
This same shift happens in The Fractured but Whole too, it's just more noticeable there because they even state several times that they are not playing a game anymore, but actually trying to stop the villain.

Mysterion said several times that his power is actually real and have used it to get out of the Sunken City, and later to get home faster.


Captain Hindsight and Mintberry Crunch also had actual superpowers.

I never said it wasn't real ffs learn to read. I said that we all already know how Kennts power works and that what we see in the fractured but whole is filtered through the kids imagination. And they start saying "this is not a game" in f*cking ambient dialogue right after the game begins! and from start till finish every single bad guy abides by their games rules and will even politley step aside for oncoming traffic. Pay attention.

She was born long after Ike and is already older than him.
