Games like Chao Gardens?
Does anyone know of any good standalone Chao garden like games?

Edit: I guess I should put a example of what I'm looking for, a game called Garden of Mooj that is a half way decent Chao garden clone but would like to find a better one, also preferably available on PC.

There's this old Dreamcast game with Lenard Nimoy called Sea Man where the player raises and talks to (using the DC microphone) a strange fish creature with a human face, Pocket Mortys on ios & android, Digimon World, Neopets, Zoo Tycoon and Sonic Advance & Sonic Pinball Party's Tiny Chao Garden feature, which also lets you move chao between them and the big chao garden in the Gamecube versions of this game & SA1 via the GBA link cable.

Interesting suggestions though a few of them aren't actually the standalone I was asking for.

Yeah, sorry about that. Those are all I know, with the Tiny Chao Garden bit the most of the superfluous non standalone ones you mention.

might be a bit of a reach, but nintendogs has competitions you can train your dogs, that reminds me a lot of chao races, on top of being one of the better virtual pet games imo

Too bad the 3DS sequel wasn't as good.

duck life kinda gives me those chao garden vibes

on the android market there's the digimon version of tamagotchi where you can train and fight your digimon, it might be closer to what you're wanting.

edit: scratch that it's no longer there, not the one I used anyway but there are apps that have taken its place for both digimon and tamagotchi, but it appears tamagotchi are all up to date versions the original is no longer on the app store.

nothing really. The chao garden is fun because of creativity and playing the main stages they work hand and hand

the two do work well together but that's not the point, the question was just is there a game that resembles the aspects of the chao garden where you can raise some kinda virtual pet and put them in races or karate tournaments or whatever, like I said the main game and the chao garden do work well together there's no knocking that but that's not exactly relevant here

there are games that are chao gardens, like chao resort island, but nothing that is like one.

I mean there are, I think you're just being a bit close minded, you only have to look at the other contributions to this thread to prove otherwise :lunar2019piginablanket:

Yeah Nintendogs has been the best suggestion so far though I'm hoping to possibly find one just as good but available natively on PC.
