Cloud saves?

Any idea on when cloud saves will be added to the game?

Alternatively, is there an easy way to find and move saves between computers? I want to play on my laptop!

Can you not move your entire AppData\LocalLow\Lafrontier\Elin\Save files to another computer and \steamapps\common\Elin\ files?(there is some info stored in both or there should be)

well you can, but its not ideal. its even harder swapping saves back and forth from steamdeck, so cloud save would be much more convenient.

to all: noacat said they wanted to add cloud save in the closed beta, but things happened with how backups were handled and it was impossible to implement. so i hope it can be added early into EA because i read lately that noacat changed how backups were handled.

At the moment im using Syncthing to backup saves from and to my Steam Deck. Its not optimal, but it works for the time being. Hope that official cloud saves will be added soon.

Ah dang just bought today and didn't realize there weren't cloud saves. Wanted to continue the world from my pc on my steam deck. Dang.

cloud saves are now in game! you have to hit the "switch to cloud" option in the load screen of the save you would like to transfer via cloud, then hit the bottom of the menu that says "toggle cloud" and it should work! be sure to back up your save anyway though just in case something might goes wrong!

since you are using steamdeck, what controller setup you using. just trying to find out so i can use mine lol
