Remake is pointless now lol

Literally the only reason I was considering playing the remake was "Well I guess it technically means mgs3 on steam". Now we literally have the og mgs3 on steam lol. Remake is just a waste of time now. I look forward to seeing them cover up Eva and make The Boss black.

I don't think there's anything wrong with indulging in a remake even if you think the original will always be better.

Also, I don't think the sex appeal cleavage makes or breaks EVA's character, By all means it's one of the few sex appeal designs that I feel still works due to serving a purpose unlike most sex appeal designs (Looking at you, BB Corps and Quiet) with the whole Garden of Eden thing, and just being part of the love-letter to bond films that was this game by being a walking set of Bond female agent tropes.
But it's not like you can't do this without the obvious part of the sex appeal, and it did start to get a bit eye-roll worthy with the first person camera angles staring at her chest, she's still an attractive woman covered up or not.

I disagree. I actually feel the other way as judging by screenshots from the remake it seems to be 1:1 in level design, etc. which, not a bad thing by itself, just seems a bit meh if we're going to be playing on maps in a remake that were originally built with PS2 hardware limitations in mind.

Was hoping the remake would try to be a little more ambitious with making the jungle sections larger, more "free-roam" (even if it's just several branching paths you can take to the next major story setpiece) etc.
