2. Metal Gear Solid 3
I'll have to think about the rest.
MGS3 - MGV - MGS5 - MGS:PW - MG acid 2 - MGS2 - MG Rising - MG portable - MG acid 1 - MGS1 - MGS4 - MG Ghost Babel - MG 1 & 2 - MG NES versions - MG mobile - MGS touch - MGS TTS.
I hope I didn't miss any.
MGS3 is a classic, it's so good and I suspect that MGS DELTA will be the first on my list.
Got +500 hours in MGV and +2000 hours in MGS5.
From a gameplay/mechanics standpoint, Phantom Pain is simply the best.
From a story standpoint, I simply can't choose just one...
It goes like this for me with the series for the ones I played (Best to Worst): 2, 4, 1, 3, PW, GZ, V.
I'd probably say 2, 3, 1 but it's fine margins. 4 and V were both great too but I care more about the originals especially as the last two were in development woes and weren't made with the same level of passion despite still being excellent.
This pretty much exactly. I would swap MGS2 and Acid 2 and thats it. Its between MGS3 and TPP for my top spot but I consider them equals in two different styles of games so its almost a tie.
Yeah some titles could be swapped if you asked me the same question later, at the top they are pretty close to each other, here I think the Acid games are at the same level that MGS2 but it's because MG acid series tried something new that they gain some bonus points, If I've made a ranking with S A B C D rank then it would be more accurate.
MGS was very cheesy at times like some of the chats over codec but it started off my love with the whole series, i woud pick MGS & MGS2 as my ultimate favourites.
Out of those I've played. Never had a PS3 to be able to play MGS4. Maybe the next volume will change that. (I am now in a position to emulate it, but I'd rather just wait.)
