THIS IS THE PS3 2011 EDITION!

The master collection is the ps3 collection from 2011 just
without peace walker, so they swapped peace walker for mgs 1 ps1 version.
and there is proof of this because the main menu in the collection says 2011, just like the ps3 version.
and it's the same background animations.

But just to be clear konami never promised us anything better
so we kinda got what they promoted.


but i think i'm gonna stick to my ps3 collection instead i have no need in buying this 2 times.

Humm, you just woke up ??? It was promoted like this since the reveal. Look at the store... it says "HD Collection" for MGS2&3
I better understand how Konami are still able to get pigeon these days

i also wanna note that if mgs 1 feels slow to you
it's because they used the 50hz pal ps1 version
so for all Americans in here who are used to the 60hz ntsc
you will feel this big time!
but for people in europe this is normal.

Until Konami adds the Japanese and American language packs to the store page, you can install them with the following commands:

Japanese: steam://install/2314210
American: steam://install/2314211

Both of these should offer 60Hz.

Ditto , for me personally i just see little to no incentive to not just replay my ps3 copy - especially since I still have it hooked up as a retro console currently.

Worse actually, for MGS1.

Since the Legacy Collection version came with the PS1 MGS1 digitally, which means it didnt have any smear filters added like in this version.

It's definitely the Subsistence version of MGS3. I'm quite sure it's also the Substance version of MGS2. Just haven't loaded it up yet.

Can confirm, as I platinumed the HD collection on my Vita; they were indeed Substance and Subsistence just without the Ape Escape and Skateboarding stuff

Oh it's true. Funny enough, I emailed konami asking this when the collection was released. Took about 5 back and forth emails of them dodging the question before finally confirming yes, they left out everything from the Subversions.
