Dependency Failure?
When ever I just click play it says, "This game is currently unavailable (Dependency Failure)" Except, what does that mean?

I had that when I tried launching Zombie mode while Campaign mode was still installing. Perhaps you have an update or installation still going.

or vice versa.

You have to install all 3 games first.

It means you don't have the minimum requirements. It happened to me also. I run on XP and I need atleast a Vista or Windows 7. So if you don't have the minimum requirements, you can't play.

Zombies runs on MP Engine, so install MP

Just wait for the Singleplayer, Multiplayer (and Zombies) to finish downloading and wait for them to be installed, you should now be able to play. :) Enjoy!

Each game part is dependant on each other, meaning that you need the whole game fully updated and installed to play. Hope that helped :)

Great so yesterday I was on Single Player and Zombies JUST FINE. Today it says Zombies needs a TWO BLOODY GIGABYTE update and SP and MP say Dependency Failure. If I put Steam in offline mode all the launchers work just fine so clearly the updates are nonsense, however there is no possible way to play Zombies without internet connection! ARGH! I am NOT happy, wanted to go on Zombies before work with friends and now I'm just sitting here watching a progress bar!

I also saw the behavior that "Bunny Love" and "Kitaeo" described. In my case, an update for "Call of Duty: Black Ops II - Zombie" had been automatically initiated by Steam. I attempted to run "Call of Duty: Black Ops II" (Campaign) and received the dependency failure message.
I have them all and when i am going to play zombies its says "Ready to launch in approximate: 0 seconds" and the bar if full but when i want to play campaign or multiplayer its says Dependacy Failure please help me.
