Enable Custom Game Cheats
Remember the early days when enabling the console would allow players to cheat? Then slowly the door to the console became closed and cheaters had to use trainers and modifiers to accomplish the same tasks. I wish we had access to these cheats again in the form of an in game menu option. Under custom games have an option to turn on cheats, which would automatically turn off the leader board stats. If you cheat you get no score on the leader board.

If you look at the top 18 kill slots only 4 players are legit the other 14 players are cheaters, some “modified” the leader board others used ammo cheats to get where they are. No matter how they spin the way they cheated, that is too many cheaters in the top slots. Activision has no intention of removing them because all the cheater has to do is claim their account was hacked into and according to Activations own rules “there is nothing they can do”. Some cheaters have been there since Jan 2013 and will stay there forever, so if you think your going to make it onto the first page of the kills leader board you got another thing coming.

If we give the cheaters a place to cheat it will give them an opportunity to explore and admire all the details that go into a maps creation. It also gives players a chance to find weapon locations and test weapon capabilities when Pack a Punch is used.

It won’t stop all cheaters because some will do what ever it takes to have their name at the top of the leader board, but I think this might help keep some cheaters off the leader board and add a fun twist to the game.

Enable Cheats + Leaderboards disabled + Disable achievement progress = Sounds fine to me. Using them only for pure fun in private matches. I don't like using cheats at all but since this solution wouldn't hurt anybody, it's okay.

That ship has sailed along with the fabulous mods in The original zombies. You can keep dreaming though.

That's what custom games should have been about. Let you do what you want without getting any rank/stats. But the geniuses that are Treyarch, managed to screw it up. But that is nothing new. The fact that Treyarch do nothing about the Leaderboard is why no one cares about it. It's a joke. It's been this way since Modern Warefare 2 though so no one should be surprised by now. Activision has used 2 different developers and still nothing has changed for the better. In some peoples eyes, things have only gotten worse.

I think this is a very good idea, and if you wanted friends to play with? maps designed for cheating! (unlimited ammo, hp, nades, etc) basically every cheat out there would be used unless they conflicted with other cheats. of course nonne of this would be ranked except the day you play. eventually it may become boring, but heck, it would be fun as hell while it lasted! maybe unlimited perks and ALL perks in a row?

can you use trainers in solo or custom and not get banned ?
texasrattler Jun 25, 2014 @ 10:11am
NO. BO 2 is only online so if you use any kind of cheat/hack or exploit, VAC will ban you. Treyarch can also ban you.

There is a way to play BO2 Zombies off line, your stats will not be saved on the leaderboard. The game must be launched with a different command, so i guess you could cheat then. I found this out when the steam servers where down and I still wanted to play the game to get used to the new maps, so tech support helped me get it running in off line mode.

Steam did not help you play offline, now you are lying. If that is true, I want to see where you have proof of Steam saying you can play offline.

Adding any command line will be seen as a hack/cheat by Treyarchs own rules. Steam wont give anyone access to game that is not offline by default. BO 2 is only online.

It was not steam, I just said the steam servers were off line. I talked to the activision help desk, and I asked if there was any way to play the game if I've lost my internet connection. they helped me out. You don't believe me? fine! Do your own research.

You can't play the game offline, idiot. There is no way. No option for it, hence why it's not in the game. Only consoles got offline play.
Squid Jun 26, 2014 @ 6:13pm
ok dude! way to do that research!
texasrattler Jun 26, 2014 @ 6:16pm
Ok mr. I know more than what Treyarch allow, if you can play offline, post in here how Treyarch told you so. Better be official too, anything else will likely get you banned.
Squid Jun 26, 2014 @ 6:30pm
I'm not doing your research for you dumbass

thats what i thought. if you had proof you would have simply shared it.
