no splitscreen/ local co op
Am I the only person who feels ripped off by paying the same price as console owners yet having half as many features (namely local co op/splitscreen) I started a similar discussion on the activision website and whilst getting over a 100 views no one has come forward to agree with me. My PC is hooked up to my HD LCD and I would love for me and my friend to be able to play local co op mode together, as I did with him on his console.

No. First of all, having two people in front of one PC is already very croweded. Two, the screen is usually pretty small and wouldn't allow for two people to actually see stuff.

Also, ONE features that isn't even important is "half the game"? Really? We got outselves some stuff they don't have, either, which is far more important (Dedicated servers for MP, costumisable FoV and Graphics,...)

Consoles are full of errors codes and even more cheaters. I do agree with you but like Bindal said, we get even better stuff really.

I should have said it was a 32" screen. and that Im using a pad to play the game as I have always been more comfortable like this And just to point out steam has big picture and I believe the new resident evil game is local co op and most cards these days have a HDMI port. I know not every PC gamer has his setup this way but I would have thought it would be more common place

Nope, most people use the PC to play on their own or online. If they want to play locally with friends, they get a console exactly for that purpose.

Even if the majority of people "Don't like to be crowded" or "Can't see" they should still have the option for split screen. Most people don't have a computer well enough for split screen but the ones that do would like to have that feature. Not to mention you need a pretty dang good computer just to play the game alone so why not? If someone's computer doesn't support it that's their problem. At least a warning on the store page so idiots like me don't buy the game for $80 only for the local multiplayer then end up never playing it and there's no refunds on top of it all. I hate the game the only reason I play is local multiplayer all i'm saying is there should AT LEAST be a warning.
Although they would lose a lot of money by doing that so good business move on their part.

Treyarch doesn't care and they have the worst support ever. They respond and act like they are taking your information but nothing is ever done. NOTHING. The Zombie leaderboards still crash.

Play myself on a 140cm LED Screen, wanted to play with a friend who plays on PS3 with an PS3 joystick emulator, besides the Aim you have on PS3 with R1 or L1, everything was well till we noticed that you cant play cop on PC...

Guess they just want to make us buy console and have the game twice...
Its only about the business
Thats pretty sad...

Idiot, if you have 50+ friends the leaderboard will always crash.. So delete some and then go back and stop crying.

So now we are calling people idiots just because they 50+ friends on steam. How is it his fault that the zombie leaderboards crash because he has 50+ friends on steam. That is a problem on the developers / steam side not on the user side. Ignorance is bliss I guess...especially if you are a fanboy.

I also agree with OP. I sometimes have my PC set up with a large TV for weekends of gaming with friends. Although we usually go for the oldskool emulators we also play FIFA14. But when it comes down to COD (which sometimes we like to play at friends houses) we cant because there is no splitscreen support on PC... Thing is my PC can probably handle split screen way better than silly PS3 and laggy choppy framerates especially during zombies.

Developers need to stop thinking that PCs are never hooked up to big screen TV's because they are more and more. Im hooked to both bigscreen and monitors simultanenously and switch between screens depending on which games I play. FIFA on bigscreen with gamepad FPS on monitor with mouse keyboard.

Lacking Gamepad / Bigscreen / Local Multiplayer support for many games while they are supported well on PS3 or Xbox are starting to piss me of so much.

I definitely feel ripped off. After spending $60 for the game and $50 for the DLC, only to realize they took this shortcut. How can they not add a split-screen feature to the pc? Some people like myself uses a big tv as a monitor. This is such a turn off, that I am not even considering the next release. They did not even state that there is no co op for pc. Coming from a console player, it was assumed that the pc version will be the same as the console but apparently they made the pc game inferior to the console version. This is quite disappointing. Like feel as if I have been deceived. Deceive me once, shame on the developers. But never a second time.

This aint no console, how do you not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ realize that? Deceive, hell Activision has been doing that to the PC version since MW2, where the hell have you been?

Might want to wake up and get with the times. Playing on the PC ain't like playing on a ♥♥♥♥ console, PC has hardly ever had split screen to begin with and there was no mention of split for BO 2 on PC.
Local co op, that's on the devs, kinda but devs never have enough time to finish the game let alone add a feature like local co op. That blame falls on the publisher Activision for never giving/allowing time to begin with. ALL devs have a deadline, meet it and get paid (sometimes) or don't (not getting paid happens alot in the gaming industry).

I have a HDMI port on my graphics card I can play on my TV with my wireless 360 controllers, they should have added the multiplayer support; this is garbage. PC users adapt to their games if they need to, I don't understand why they don't let us play multiplayer zombies. Bad port is bad.

There's been very little if any good ports to PC. Most console ports simply just suck because these companies don't utilize what a PC can really do. They don't want to take the time or spend the money.

I think its a shame that I can't play zombies splitscreen. I'm playing on a 40" in Big Picture mode.
