RPD VS HAMR
The RPD and HAMR have the same ammount of ammo in total. 500.
RPD has a tighter hipfire spread
HAMR has a faster reload
RPD has a faster fire rate
And they are around the same in terms of damage and time to kill.
(WITHOUT DOUBLE TAP OR SPEED COLA)

Which is better? I prefer RPD as the tighter hipfire.
OR ARE YOU A REAL MAN AND USE THE SMR!!!!![/b]

Hamr, because of the faster reload, especially at higher lvl rounds

HAMR was the better choice but after the patch the RPD now wins. I hate both of them though because they're weak and make you run slow. I'd prefer FAL, Galil, or the MTAR over these.

RPD only gains a larger magazine after PaP, HAMR can get a red dot, grip or others and can be PaP again, which is another advantage of the HAMR.
Also, HAMR fires it's first 7 or 8 rounds at a higher rate than the following, allowing for a higher RoF if you burst manually.

PAP twice is normally not that useful though.

RPD is the best

Depends - if the current attachment is useless, spending those 2k points might give you a good one. And in some cases, it just plain gives you another (e.g. the Five Seven. Second PaP gives the single version Fast Mag without removing anything)
Still, those attachments are an advantage over the RPD.

On the other hand, it isn't like you have a choice, right? You can only take what the box gives you. And if you get both HAMR and RPD, why choose and not take both? (But I have to say, I take the LSAT over both any day. Too bad it only appears in Nuketown and Mob)

No, release date is 16th of April for 360 - which probably means around 14th of May for PC.

Not confirmed - but the usual exclusive-time for 360 is a month. So between 14th and 16th of may is the PC-release to be expected. And PS3, of course but that doesn't affect us.

I really want to go to alcatraz fight giant zombies with the PAP tommy gun and fly off the island! not wait till may 14th

See it on the bright side - any possible gamebreaking bug in the map is bound to be only to affect only the 360 crowd AND they can struggle figuring out the Easter Egg while we then lean back and just do the solved thing. :P
