Unhandled Exception Caught (Error BO2 Zombies)

For some reason i cant even play 1 match of transit as within the span of 5 minutes of starting a match it randomly closes the window but continues to run in the background, after a minute or so, or if i end task on the application it pops up with a window and says " Unhandled exception caught"
I have tried verifying the game files and it'll end up finding 2 files that needed to be fixed and then steam proceeds to fix them, after its down downloading those files i boot up another match, then BOOM its doing the same thing again.
I have re downloaded call of duty twice now, iv reinstalled Direct X and did the c++ Repair, iv changed the application compatibility from Windows 7 & 8 (I'm using windows 10 as my OS).

I'm losing my mind cause i wanna play but illiterately keeps crashing.
I'll list my specs below for anyone who asks if my PC can run the game :)

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X
GPU: Radeon RX 6600
RAM: 16GB DDR4 (2 x 8G Sticks)
STORAGE: 1TB M.2 SSD

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Have you got anything running like MSI Afterburner or Rivatuner? Close them as they can interfere with the game.

A bit late, but this used to happen to me. What I did is limit the fps. If you have unlimited in frames the game just crashes, so limit it to 60 and it should solve.

I always play with FPS uncapped and it hits over 300fps and I don't have crashes, I just think this game is weird with certain PC setups. Crashes could also be caused by having certain windows defender settings enabled, I'm not sure which settings but heard a few people saying they fixed crashes by changing some windows defender settings.

Yea my solution was so stupid, in the zombies settings theirs an option for “draw FPS” I disabled that and it fixed it 😂

If you go to the settings in zombies, check to see if “Draw FPS” is enabled, if it is then make sure you disable it! Fixed my issue
