There is a thing called a combo. So you may not even realize it but your provider may have given you a modem but it may also be a router hense the combo name. Google your model or talk to your provider.
Currently i'm using a combo from Centurylink.
2. Right click your router, click properties, click settings
3. Click add, type Bo2, your IP, and 3074 to 3074 to UDP
4. Click ok. Start BO2, should be open.
Works every time for me on my wired connection.
If you're wireless, I suppose the only way is in router settings
Either way works. I actually decided to use router settings instead
because my IP kept changing and I had to do extra stuff because
steam kept disconnecting me. but just for nat open, that should do it.
There's a lot about AC routers and routers in general, in majority of cases, there is no need to spend more than $150 on a router, especially on the new AC routers. If you do enough research you will see that some higher end AC models will require a new adapter to even make the AC option even be useful, this new adapter is hardly found.
cause the modem router is AC1600 and the wifi router is AC1750
I may have given you the wrong model #. The real model is the netgear R6250, most will call it the ac1600.
