Blackops 2 zombie sound not working

Black ops 2 zombie mode has no sound for me. I have no idea why it worked the first time i played it and hasent ever since. The multiplayer and campaign modes have no issues and work fine and the sound settings are the same across all 3 modes i have tried to re install iv tried numerous audio settings tweaks and to no avial no matter what i seem to do the sound wont work on zombies and its im not a computer noob i built my own rig from ground up and consider myself pretty tech savy. Im at my witts end as to why sound does not work. anyone have simular issues and a way to fix this.

no nicholas cage montana lol i dont use headphones iv had a 7.1 surround system for my gaming since i built the rig sound works as i stated in the other black ops 2 modes just not zombies and i have no problems with sound on any other games nor any other program.

I had this same problem too for zombies. I fixed it buy going to Options/Settings/Sound Then clicking my sound device (Mine was logitech G930) and you do that in the zombies options menu. For some reason I only had this problem with zombies :/

the sound settings ingame is set to my logitech speakers. still not working on that game i have no idea why

Try to apply every sound device you have in options/sound. Also make sure sound device you are using is connected and it's drivers are up to date.

i just started having this same thing everthing els works even the other game modes just not zobies. Did you ever find out what the hell is going on ?
