Game wont launch

I have everything besides multiplayer downloaded. When i attempt to launch, it states executing, then stops.

Any ideas?

Solution: Download All 3, Base game, Multiplayer, and Zombies or it wont start.

I have all of them downloaded. The only thing that will load is the Campaign.

Once you download them all, launch the version you want to play im assuming. Ex. launch zombies if you want to play zombies, multi if mult, base if campaign. See if that works

Verify game files over and over and over until the game launches. After doing this do not reinstall the game unless absolutely necessary. MP took me 4 times and ZM took me 6 times to get this to work.

same was for me keep starting the game after 7- 8 start the game started for me

yeah same i got all the versions downloaded and i keep verifing the files over and over but i just wont open it either says updating executable then just stops or the game "launches" and then says this game would like to make some changes to your computer i click yes then i just keeps popping up till i say no

Worked for me

If on Windows 10/11 search "run programs made for previous versions of Windows"
If the game is not in the list of programs select "Not listed" and "next", then click browse and go to the game folder where for example the "t6zm" is. then select it and click "next"
and "try recommended settings" test the program (it should work then, like it did for me) if it works click next on the troubleshooter and save it.

TIP: if you have trouble finding the path where bo2 is just go to steam and click on the settings icon of the game then choose "browse files" and copy the path and paste it in the troubleshooter and hit enter and click one of the 3 bo2 applications.

NOTES: - you have to repeat these steps for all 3 parts of bo2 (mp/zm/campaign)
- At first launch it has to install a few things which it does automaticly, which you will get to notice with a pop up in the taskbar. so be patient.
