Ranking up in Zombies

Hey guys, so umm i've been stuck on Skull with blue eyes 5 marks for quite a while now, i had Empty skull b4 and i can't seem to rank up, any info about what it may be? Thanks:)

the tally marks on your rank shows how many days in a row you've played zombies. if you have 5 tally marks, the eyes of the skulls glow as blue. I'm not 100% sure, but tally marks and blue eyes probably don't make any difference towards reaching higher ranks (in your case; skull with knife first, and finally skull with shotguns). I believe the most important factors making the progress faster are, consistently getting to higher rounds and with as few downs as possible.

just do some solo high rounds and you'll rank up I think
