Raygun MK.2 Bug

Hello, i own the buried dlc. I was playing town and the entire game ive gotten the raygun mk2 0x! but i can see it in the mystery box. I played on the xbox a few years ago and remember it wasnt that rare to get. I tried so many times wil try unninstal and reinstall now. Does anyone know this problem or have any idea how to solve it? Thanks

It has a lower spawn rate on survival maps. Your chances of getting it on Buried or Origins is much higher as at the time it was new and the devs probably wanted to show it off. However, on a map like Town or Die rise, you are going to see it a lot less. This isn't a bug, just bad luck. I think there is a video you can find explaining the probability for each map.

Are you sure? you telling me that in a 5h game its normal to not get the raygun? T_T ill search that video thanks man!

it is very difficult for it to come out, although with 5h it is strange dude...

although raygun mk-2 is rare to get on maps other than buried; it's still weird not to acquire it in a 5 hour game with possibly more than 100 box tries. but let me remind you some rules in case you don't know:

1- raygun and raygun mk2 cannot be owned by same person at the same time. if you were hitting the box many times while having standard raygun equipped, the box won't give you raygun mk-2 no matter how many times you try.

2- raygun mk-2 can only be owned by 1 person in the lobby, except buried. if someone else already owns it in a co-op game, on a map other than buried; you won't be able to get it from box. for buried, however, all 4 players can have it at the same time.

Yeah those points you adressed are not new to me anyway maby it had to do with the fact i bought teh dlc and directly started a match on town maby i should have opend burried before anyway ill try soon again thanks for the tips and reminders!

I'm pretty sure the Raygun Mk2 only transfers to Origins, Die Rise, and Transit (Not survival maps). I never got it on anything other than Buried (duh), Origins and Die Rise though, so maybe they just never added it to Transit since Transit sucks big time?

it's in the box for all maps if buried DLC owned. I have experience playing with it on all maps, including tranzit (green run survival sub-maps as well), mob of the dead, nuketown and the maps you've mentioned.

Weird. Maybe it's just incredibly low odds. I've never even seen it roll past for the other maps.
