Why Does This Game Not Have DLC?

I mean a free expansion with loads of stuff, you're buttering us up aren't you, just like Crapcom or EA. I mean seriously if that was just out of the kindness of your heart, ADD DLC SO I CAN GIVE YOU MONEY!!!!!!!!

There's also a fan-made DLC which massively increases the size of the game and adds plenty of features, the Captain's Edition mod (compatible with Advanced Edition): http://www.ftlgame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=15663

Not the same as a real, buyable DLC and you're not giving the devs money, but hey, maybe buy a few extra copies of FTL to gift to people if you wanna do that. :)

You wanna know the best DLC? The entire game. AGAIN. Keep the support on by gifting it to a friend, so that they too can understand the joys of Giant Alien Spiders

the update was so good they could have charged for it, but had the decency not to.

I suppose you could always buy copies and give them away to people on your friends list that don't own it already

I just got the game today clearing it from my wishlist forevermore... and wow I should have gotten this sooner. The fact that they had the decency not to charge for the extra content makes me a huge fan and I will be sure not to wait to buy with any future games they make. Fantastic game all around!
