Is FTL for Nintendo Switch possible?
Will there eventually be a Switch port of FTL?

As much as I wish it would happen, I wouldn't count on it. FTL is still a fantastic game, don't get me wrong, but it hasnt had much change is the past few years. The devs have been working on thier next game "Into the Breach". Rather than a Port.

Switch is kind of a special case, seeing as it can function as a mobile gaming device.

If only devs had the resources to port FTL to Android tablets - we wouldn't need that :blech:

FTL on the Switch would be pretty nice, nice big screen, touch screen controls. I could easily spend another 60+ hours on the Switch version.

It is like they are sitting on a gold mine, but refuse to make money out of it.
I would insta buy a FTL 2.0, cmon it is not that hard to do

Yeah, seriously with those money they could probably simply outsource making of port to guys that actually know how to make Android ports, let's say DotEmu for example.

Can you imagine, what should be in ftl2? To make it proper sequel, not asset flip of 1st part (I, personally, cant imagine any noticable changes, that may maintain sequel. DLC - yes. More ships, more events, more stuff - all that, related to additional content. But if I understand dev's stance right, they dont want to make paid dlcs. So - thats it)

^ This, i agree. It's a polished masterpiece already, direct sequel can only be mediocre.

I'd buy a switch just for ftl. I haven't been able to get this game working on my 1440p monitor so I stopped playing it. No option on android either. Sucks
