FTL Golf - lowest score win on Hard Mode

For the past month, I've been trying to get the lowest score possible while still winning on hard mode. My current "best" score is 2202. Anyone else out there attempted this?

That is quite impressive, all of my hard victories are somewhere among the lines of 3,9k to 6,3k.
You did a nice job, I don't have such a low score even on easy runs.

Crystal B - Shields 3, engines 4 teleporter 1, cloak 1, mind control 1, weapons 3 (burst I, small bomb).

Crew: 3 Crystals (boarding), Rock (pilot), zoltan (engines), Mantis (boarding)

You can use crystal lockdown even if the crewmember is mindcontrolled. This can be used to lock the MC'd crew in an empty or useless room, preventing them from repairing or putting out fires on the hostile ship.
