directx 11 options is disabled

directx option in game options is disabled and my grapics card says game is running directx9

is there a trick to enable directx11 features of the game if there are ?

if u spot any differences please post some screenshots

tesselation ( directx 11 feature ) seems its disabled ( not being able to be edited ) at options menu as well


thread title : option* / options in sense that several features are related to enabling directx11 option alone

Same for me... ive just updated the game but I still have no DX11 options as they are greyed out.... any ideas?! Also running DX9 - 1.8.13 with an AMD 7970

looks like steam is useing DX9 UBI file thats why making problem...

God darn it, I spent $450 just to get a DX9?! WTF! Weird thing is my brother using a laptop with AMD 7970M and he just got it right, so mad about it.

got game for $10 on amazon, so its not steam, but I see some people lost it after last update so I did not do update to v1.08 and I still have dx11 and tesselation

ok but that might cause problems on multiplayer, either u wont see players or games wont load or crash, this usually is the case in multiplayer games

I start hating Ubisoft's game already, instead of messing up and making their game complicated, they should focusing on make their games perform better!

Look in the GRFS main directory. You'll see that the update also has 2 new short cuts for the game. One of them is with DX9 and the other with DX11. People who have a DX11 supported graphics card shouldn't have any problems.

I tried that option already, since I buy this game throuh Steam so when I tried to use the DX11 shorcut, it does link up to Uplay but could not work because the CD key is not valid :(

If you get the message that your CD key is not valid, you need to contact Steam immediately.
Sometimes it can be a small error, but in other cases it can also be that someone else is using your key.

Hi the Problem is Steam use the the Future Soldier.exe and this is DX9 you can see this in the Game at the left corner. To Enable the DX11 just go into the Game Folder and Rename the Future Soldier DX11.exe to Future Soldier.exe then it works.
