cant run the game in win10
everytime i try to run the game it just pops "do u want to allow steam/ubisoft to make change to ur pc" then done, nothing else happens, the game is not starting or updating or anything, why is that? ive tried to run it as an administrator or change the compatibility, but those methods wont help either.

I keep crashing after inputting the name. Can't even get started...

yeh i did be able to play the game. after set the .exe file's compatibility mode for Windows 7, if your friend still cant run the game, then just shut down Uplay then try again. i was be able to get in after 4 or 5 try...that was me but i hope ur friend can solve this too.

didn't work for me tho... tied it at least 50 times and reinstalled the game... It just doesn't work...anymore

Uso o Win 10 e quando instalei o jogo ele simplesmente ameaçava começar e ,então, nada acontecia. Esse jogo está atrelado ao Uplay. É lógico que é neçessário que tenhamos uma conta nele.Só que que o Uplay que o jogo instala não funciona. Fui no site deles e baixei a última versão para pc e instalei. Depois disso, coloquei todos os executáveis do jogo em modo de compatibilidade com o Win 7 e também rodando com administrador. Pronto. O jogo rodou super bem e, pude ver então, como esse game é muito legal. Abraços à todos e espero ter podido ajudar.

I went to Steam directory and clicked on "Future Soldier DX11.exe" directly, game started and runs fine now

TheVavil, try to download the most recent Uplay program from the original site e instal it (uninstal that one the game installed; it doesn't work) and put all executable file to run as administrator ( the Upalay also) and ,of course, you must have an account ih Uplay. If you don't, you must register one before. I hope my sugestions could be usefull (I have win 10 x64 and had the same problem. Now it is runing fine!) . Best wishes !

İ got the same issue. İ solved it with installing directx setup in ghost recon games folder. Try it.
But low fps problem still a issue. Playing after 20 apprx. minutes games fps getting lower and lower. Any idea how to fix it??

if you have the latest update for windows, it has increased firewall protection where all new app installed will require explicit access. so you will have to go to Windows defender security centre >> Controlled folder access >>> Allow an app through controlled folder access and chose all GFexe files like DX9/11 etc, then enter your name at the new game at startup and u should be fine !

To fix it, folow step below:
+ Set full permissions for the folder named: C:\Users\[your logged window account]\AppData
+ Add "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier\Future Soldier.exe" throught fire wall
+ Run game as Administrators
