No leather pad recipe..
I've completed craft quests. Now i need to create Padded gloves but i don't have leather pad recipe.. Where can i get this one?

With the update to crafting, the component recipies have been removed. You can create gloves directly from leathers IIRC.

To craft now, all you have to do is have the base leathers, ingots, or wood and the ingredient that you buy from the supplier, no more componets. xD

I'm a bit undecided on the new crafting...

The good news is that you have 'processing' recipies that give you a lot of crafting XP without having to create tons of items you will sell right away. (and not getting interrupted by critical successes that need to be named is a boon too!).

The bad news is that crafting is getting dumbed down even further.
And as a metalsmith I've lost the crafting tool recipies. so no better crafting stats for my alts for a while...

The tools were changed also... I don't know what those changes were, however.

There is now one set of tools per profession. so 'tools of the yeoman' act as farming tool, needle & thread and frying pan.
Problem is, you have to acquire those recipies. I did have all single tool recipies (up to my current crafting level), and they are gone, not replaced by the new recipies.

Well, I already got 4 of those tools and I think the recipes are not that hard to obtain. There was actually 2 quests in the Tavern in the Lone Lands that could even be repeated a couple of times where you could chose a recipe container for all professions and one for the tools I think, dunno if those quests are perhaps new or been there before, but you could use an alt to get those in the worst case. I atleast think they give you tool recipes, the four I have I got from other containers but they are named something with tools so I guess they give those recipes (I went for metalsmith recipes here).

well, I'm in Moria at the moment (being L57), and it's a drag to go back to the lone lands to one-shot goblins for those recipies :(

perhaps they'll show up in the AH. then I have some use for my gold.
