You should all go get this before you have to pay for your mount and riding skill using hard earned turbine points after countless of quests and slayer deeds. Just saying this to be nice.

Surprisingly enough, it seems to have worked for me.

EDIT: It also appears to be an account-wide boost that lasts forever, so each and every character you make from here on out will have that gift box containing the riding skill, a standard mount, etc, etc. Welp... Guess I'll never need to buy the riding skill ever again.
