character tracking app?
Does anyone know if there is a character tracking app for Lotro like there is for EQ2?

well I don't see a way to delete or close this. recieved an answer elsewhere that there used to be one but is was closed down.

Correct. The LOTRO Herald (app for iPhone) used information from "The Lorebook" and {LINK REMOVED} two official sources from Turbine which they took off-line in july of 2013.
Since those sources were shutdown, there is no way to get the information from "inside" the game to the "outside."

There are a couple of Lua apps which can be used to track your characters while in-game, but the Lua structure does not allow that information to be easily exported.

Thank you for your reply. Looks like I will have to set up some excell worksheets to manually keep track of stats, recipes and equipment.

One plugin which may help - Alt Inventory:
{LINK REMOVED}

Make certain you read the dialog. The Author, Garan, does a good job of explaling what the issues are for the Lua API and character data.
