Perpetual "World Status: CLOSED"
I installed LOTRO a couple days ago and have been unable to select a world to log in to. I am able to log in with my user name and password but all of the worlds in the list on the following screen state "World Status: CLOSED". I initially thought this might be a normal maintenance but the status hasn't changed for days now. I checked the website http://status.warriorsofnargathrond.com/ and it states that servers are currently online.

Has anyone else encountered this? Any recommendations?

EDIT: Turbine support replied to me. It looks like it was an account creation glitch that they've cleared up.

Have you checked the norm like windows firewall? (making sure there's an exception for in/out traffic for the patcher and the client)

servers have been up. sounds like a comms problem on your end. try suggestions here:
