Creating a Kin for my alts

Hi all, I am thinking of creating a kin for only my alts but before i do that I needmore information. What is the minimum number of characters that are required to be in a kin and own a kin house. Also, can you have a kin with characters from only one account or do they need to be from at least two accounts?

you need at least 2 accounts to make one (you can't invite offline or from the same account) and the minimum number for a Kin to exist I believe is 8 if anyone can clariffy, be my guest.

You must have the numbers within 24hrs or the kin will be disbanded, likewise if your numbers fall below 8 you will be given a 5 day warning to increase Kin numbers or it will disband automatically.

Correct -- except for the timeperiod for disbanding.
I belive that Turbine completely eliminated "automatic disbanding."

A Rank 7 (3 months) kinship is reequired before you can purchaes a house.

I was wondering, I could temporarilly invite a random player, make them officer so that they can invite my characters as i alt? I do have 8 characters all together. Is that a valid option? or will the kin be disbanded since a permanent 2nd account is a requirement?

You could try, and see what happens.
You can also make a second account yourself. Then you only need a second computer, so you can have characters from both accounts online at the same time (can be done on 1 machine as well, but that takes some work).
You can ignore the second account after you have got all your alts recruited.

There is no more minimum number of players requirement for kinships.

indeed you need a 2nd account to do the inviting but once you have the minimum 8 the 2nd account is not required

people also sell kinships in game for gold..at least ive seen a few offer
