Any crafting tips for a noob?

Hi all, I'm new to the game. I would love to try all the crafting but looks like you are only allowed 3 professions. I'm only lvl 9 so don't know if that changes later. I'm a Minstrel and chose food, forestry and wood working. I'm debating switching food to tailor. Is food worth keeping? I appreciate any tips!

Any Account can have up to 3 Crafts per Character. A 4th Craft can be selected but requires a 995 LOTRO Points unlock from the LOTRO Store.

Cooking you'd require having Farming for the items you'd need to make stuff.

If you go with Tailor that will benefit from your Forestry as you can both Gather & Process Hides + Wood. With Tailor you'll be able to make Light & Medium Armor + Cloaks.

TIP for Craft Abilities - You can call out to the World, or Auction House, for Crafting Tools, and Recipes. I give away all Recipes I already know, to those who need/want them on Crickhollow Server. If you're there, Send a Request by in game mail, to Odeen, Bopodee, and/or Bopohire and I'll gladly clear my Bags your way. As well as craft any Craft-Tools, (Yes certain crafters can make Crafting tools that work in gathering materials)...Jewelry, or special weapons for your level, and the next one up.
Let me know if you have the River Hobbit too.

Thanks for the info, I'm on Gladden now but if I can make the change I'll reach out. I am not a River Hobbit. For my first toon I wanted to be in The Shire and wasn't sure if the River Hobbit would put me there. I've always wanted to be there :)
