Anyone managed to use Steam wallet from Sweden or Denmark?

When opening shop with Steam version all I get is an error saying "We're sorry, no payment methods are available for your Country and/or Currency." when trying to pay for VIP.
Support couldn't / wouldn't help just referring to the non steam version.
From what I understand it is cause Steam doesn't support Swedish or Danish Currency and Lotro uses our local currency and refuse to change it.
I know it works with credit card / PayPal as I've been VIP before.
The thing is I have 150€ in my Steam wallet and wanted to spend it on a VIP sub.
Anyone managed to work around this?

When I pointed out that it is against EU and Swedish law to not accept Euro as currency they just closed the ticket, lol.

One trick I learned is to launch the game from using the non steam launcher you can find it in your program files than buy stuff off that than use steam to play and log your hours

I'm Swedish and our currency is Sek but Steam doesn't support Sek so we get to use Euro. But SSG recognizes that I'm in Sweden and charges in Sek when trying to use the Steam Wallet. If my local currency was Euro it woul'd be just fine.
